About Me

I was born a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I grew up surrounded by other members of the Church (or "Mormons" as we are commonly called), so it wasn't difficult for me to live the standards and teachings of the Church, because it's what everybody else did. I served a mission for the Church in Indiana from 2012-2014, and this was the first time anybody really challenged my testimony. I had to decide if I really did believe what I was teaching. I studied from the scriptures, talks from Church leaders, and other Church publications every day of my mission to find answers. My testimony was deepened in incredible ways, and I firmly believed what I taught.

Now, as I continue to study the scriptures every day, I want to share the answers I find with others. As a missionary, I learned the importance of recognizing God's hand in all things, and my goal is to continue to do that every day of my life. I am a writer and editor, and I figured that writing a blog would be an effective way to use my talents while sharing my testimony of the gospel. Hopefully readers here find inspiration and answers to their own personal questions.
